Familienporträt von Aernout van Beeftingh (1759-1831) mit seiner ersten Frau Jacoba Maria Boon (1760-1800) und ihren Kindern im Inneren. Die Mutter sitzt auf ihrem Schoß mit dem jüngsten Sohn Nicolaas Marinus (geb. 1796). Auf ihrer linken Seite ist Johanna Adriana (1787-1828), mit einer Sockenmesse in ihrer rechten und einem Hut in ihrer linken Hand. Auf dem Boden ist Joshua (1789-1835), auf einem Armlehnen und mit einer Peitsche in der Hand. Aernout van Beeftingh sitzt auf einem Rundtisch mit einem Druck in seiner Hand. Nicolaas (1783-1858) geht mit einer Brieftasche zu einem offenen Kunstschrank, Pieter (1794-1875) sitzt mit einer Fallenkappe in einem hohen Stuhl.
