Petra Wadström ist Erfinder und Künstler in Åkersberg, dessen Ehemann ein breas Chirurg ist. Er bat Petra, herauszufinden, wie Frauen, die Brustchirurgie hatten, sowohl Unterstützung als auch Bandagen bekommen könnten. Nachdem Petra mit vielen Frauen gesprochen und verschiedene Materialien und Stoffe ausprobiert hatte, erfand Petra die Opbra. Es bildet sich nach dem Körper.
