Diese kleine Vase in Form einer Frucht, wahrscheinlich eines Granatapfels, ist mit Sprays von Pfirsichen und der ungewöhnlichen Frucht, die als Buddhas Handzitrone bekannt ist, dekoriert. Der verwendete Ton ist von einer außergewöhnlich feinen Art bekannt als "weiche Paste", die im frühen Teil des achtzehnten Jahrhunderts entwickelt wurde. Ein viel teureres Material als die in der Regel in chinesischem Porzellan verwendete Hartpaste, war es wahrscheinlich für kleine und sehr ausgewählte Objekte auf dem Schreibtisch des Gelehrten reserviert.
