St. George und der Drache ist ein kleines Kabinettgemälde des italienischen Meisters der hohen Renaissance Raphael, 1504-1506. Das Gemälde war ein Highlight der Sammlung Pierre Crozat, die 1772 durch Diderots Vermittlung von Catherine II. von Russland erworben wurde. Ein Jahrhundert lang hing die Tafel im Imperial Hermitage Museum. Es war eine der beliebtesten Gemälde in der gesamten Sammlung der Zaren. Im März 1931 verkauften die Bolschewiki das Gemälde an Andrew Mellon, der es in die Washingtoner Galerie einführte.
