St. Michael und Satan (1518) ist ein Gemälde des italienischen Malers Raphael. Es ist eine großformatige (268 cm × 160 cm) und reife Version eines Themas, das er zuvor in der jugendlichen Miniatur St. Michael behandelt hatte. Beide Werke befinden sich im Louvre in Paris. Raphael besuchte zunächst das Thema Michael in der Behest von Guidobaldo da Montefeltro, Herzog von Urbino. Die Miniatur wurde im Jahre 1504 oder 1505 auf der Rückseite einer Tafel fertiggestellt, möglicherweise in Auftrag, um Louis XII von Frankreich für den Orden des Heiligen Michael auf Francesco Maria I della Rovere, Urbinos Neffe und Erben zu danken. Ein wenig mehr als ein Jahrzehnt nach Abschluss des kleinen St. Michael, Raphael wurde beauftragt, das Thema neu zu betrachten, produziert St. Michael Vanquishing Satan für Papst Leo X.
