Der prodigale Sohn in der Taverne (Rembrandt und Saskia) ist ein Öl auf Leinwandmalerei von der dutch Malerin und etcher Rembrandt van Rijn. Es wurde 1635 gemalt. Dieses einzigartige Doppelporträt von Rembrandt und Saskia (ca. 1635-36) scheint seinem Leben einen ironischen und reflektierenden Blick zu bieten. Auch hier zeigt sich ein Ätzen dem Thema des Gemäldes, aber im 1636 geätzten Doppelporträt zeigt sich Rembrandt in der Arbeit, indem er sich dem Betrachter ansieht. Dieses Gemälde (161 x 131 cm) ist derzeit in der Gemäldegalerie, Dresden untergebracht.
