Joseph Et La Femme De Potiphar ist ein Ätzen durch den Herzog Maler und etcher Rembrandt van Rijn. Es wurde 1634 getan. Joseph war der ältere Sohn des hebräischen Patriarchen Jakob und Rahel. Seine zahlreichen älteren Brüder waren nur Halbbruder, die Söhne Leahs oder der Magden. Die Ereignisse seiner romantischen Lebensgeschichte wurden ab dem 6. Jahrhundert kontinuierlich in der christlichen Kunst dargestellt. Die mittelalterliche Kirche sah die Episoden seines Lebens als eine Präfiguration des Lebens Christi, und es ist, dass er seinen wichtigen Platz in der christlichen Kunst verdankt.
