Das ist ein Renaissance-Rebellionskleid. Das dicke Tuch von Bouclé und glattem Satin, die Schlitze effektiv während des Kleides verwendet, und die Dekorationen typisch für die Renaissance Wiederbelebung vermitteln alle die Nostalgie für die große Vergangenheit, die am Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts gefühlt wurde. Nachdem Gustave Beer ein Haus in Wien eröffnete, verlegten sie 1905 ihre Betriebsbasis nach Paris. Gustave Beer hielt ihre ausländischen Klientel und stellte ihre Werke während der Saison in einem berühmten Hotel in Paris vor.
