Zur selben zeit , das porträt fällt auch in der eleganten haltung des darstellers und in seinem ausdruck in die romantische tradition , zugleich hochmütig und melancholisch , während die kleidung , pose und langes, unordentliches haar sind typisch für die 19th-century dandy .
