Eliza Falconer Bradish (1795–1865) wurde an Margaretta und James Bradish von New York geboren. Sie heiratete Major John Biddle (siehe 24.115.1) 1819. Sie hatten eine Tochter und vier Söhne. Ein von Sully gehaltenes Register schreibt, dass dieses Porträt 1821 gemalt wurde. Die Sitter ist in einer stilvoll informellen Pose gezeigt, die von der Eleganz ihres Samtkleides und Pelz Boa abgestellt wird. Obwohl das Porträt in der Größe mit dem von Mr. Biddle entspricht, sind seine Farbschema und Zusammensetzung nicht kostenlos, so dass es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass die Arbeit als Anhänger für Sullys 1818 Porträt ihres Mannes gedacht war.
