clarissa strozzi war die tochter von roberto strozzi und maddalena dei medici , der im exil in venedig lebte von 1540 zu 1542 . zusammen mit dem porträt von ranuccio farnese , dieses gemälde ist das zweite bezaubernde child's porträt tizian gemalt in 1542 . Clarissa füttert ihren kleinen hund , aber , wie ranuccio , betrachtet etwas, das außerhalb des bildes stattfindet . Dies schafft wieder ein lebendiges bewegungsgefühl . Die putten auf dem relief betonen Clarissa's kindliche vitalität .
