Dieser Holzschnitt zeigt Prinz Genji esst, während der Blick fallenden Schnee von einem Fluss Balkon. Es wurde von dem japanischen Holzblockkünstler Toyohara Kunichika produziert, geschnitzt von Hori-ei und veröffentlicht von Kiya Sojiro in Tokio, Japan, im Juli 1867. Es ist möglicherweise das zentrale Panel eines Original-Triptych; ein Kunstwerk aus drei verschiedenen Panels. Die Szene ist ein Genji-e oder Mitate-e; eine parodie Darstellung der ursprünglichen Genji-Geschichte. Ein beliebtes Thema für viele japanische Druckkünstler im neunzehnten Jahrhundert,
