Etwa 4,3 km. von Okitsu, die Station in Ejii wurde auf Sandbanken von der Tomoe River gebildet, um den natürlichen Hafen von Shimizu in den Süden. Das Hotel liegt an etwa dem mittleren Punkt zwischen Edo und Osaka, es prosperierte als ein Zwischenlandung für kleine Frachtschiffe aus dem ganzen Land. Im Vordergrund sind die Fischervillage und Schiffe in Shimizu Harbor verankert, in der Mitte ist die Miho Pine Grove berühmt gemacht in der Legende von Hagoromo ("The Feathered Robe").
