Walter Scott (1851-1925) entwarf Uhrengehäuse und Schmuck und lehrte an der Kunstschule in Coventry. Er malte Landschaften in Gloucestershire, Wales und dem Lake District, sowie in Warwickshire. Diese Ansicht von Stoke Heath in der Nähe von Coventry zeigt eine romantische Sicht auf tumbling Wolken und offenes Heideland. Stoke Heath hatte ursprünglich eine große Anzahl von Elmbäumen, von denen noch auf Heath Crescent und Common Way gesehen werden konnte, als Häuser auf der Gegend gebaut wurden. Leider wurden die Bäume in den 1970er Jahren durch die niederländische Elm-Krankheit zerstört.
