Das Thema dieser Arbeit zeigt eine deutliche Ähnlichkeit mit dem berühmten afroamerikanischen Schauspieler Ira Aldridge (1807-1867), der als einer der größten tragischen Schauspieler seines Tages gelobt wurde, gewann er in Europa für seine Shakespeare Rollen, darunter Lear, Macbeth und, am bekanntesten, Othello.
