Die Darstellung von St George durch den Graveur William Wyon wurde auf der Rückseite einer persönlichen Medaille von Prinz Albert in Auftrag gegeben. Der hier dargestellte Gegenstand ist jedoch kein Medaillestück, sondern ein bronzener Kupferelektrotyp, der einen beeindruckenden Durchmesser von 23 Zentimetern misst.
