Dieses Aquarell-Porträt eines Qajar-Beamten, möglicherweise Nasir al-Din Shahs erster Premierminister Amir Kabir, ist typisch für die Nasiri-Periode. Der Sitter trägt einen konischen astrakhan Hut und einen pelztrimmierten brocaded paisley robe. Sein piercing Blick und seine Meißel sind auffällig. Wie bei vielen Porträts der Zeit, wird seine Robe mit Perlen und Juwelen bestickt, und um seinen Hals trägt er ein diamant-gestuded Medaillon mit dem Porträt des herrschenden Königs, Nasir al-Din Shah. Das Gemälde wird von Abu"l Hasan III Ghaffari (auch bekannt als Yahya Ghaffari), der dritte Sohn des renommierten Hofmalers Abu"l Hasan Ghaffari (bekannt als Sani al-Mulk) und ist datiert A.H. 1294/A.D. 1877.
