Manol Usta, also known as Manolis Venios, was a master luthier born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1845. He is widely recognized for his exceptional craftsmanship in creating lutes and other stringed instruments. Manol Usta's work is characterized by intricate carvings of birds, scrolling foliage, and stars along the head of the instruments. He passed away in 1915.
