Architectural andlandscape painter Carl August Lebschée demonstrated a talent for drawing evenas a child, and thus came to be taught landscape painting at an early age.Prompted by his primary interest in landscapes and vistas, he traveled throughlarge parts of Bavaria, drawing scenic sequences.
