Biography:
Adrien Sénéchal was a French artist born in Reims in 1895 and died in 1974. He was a painter and affichist. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and was a student of Jules Adler. He is known for his series of 18 pastels representing the fire of the Reims cathedral in 1914, which was presented in Paris in 1919. In 1925, he decorated the chapel of the Filles de la Charité in Reims with the participation of Eugène Bourgouin. He is buried in the Nord cemetery in Reims.
