Biography:

Friederike Feldmann is a German artist born in 1962 in Bielefeld, Germany. She studied at the Universität der Künste Berlin and has been a professor of painting at the Kunsthochschule Berlin, Weißensee since 2012. Feldmann's work often focuses on painterly aspects such as gesture, texture, and representation. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions, including at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Pinakothek der Moderne, and the Staatliche Graphische Sammlung München. Feldmann's work has also been featured in the Widewalls and Artsy online platforms. She is known for her use of materials such as aquarelle, silicone, and paint on canvas, as well as her series 'Ten Years After'.
