Goddesses are depicted on the corridor walls of the temple at the ruins of Angkor Wat. Between them are latticed windows that appear like beads on an abacus. The magnanimous and gentle expressions of the goddesses form a contrast with the well-ordered windows when collected into a single scene. With the columns in the foreground, this is a very distinctive composition.
