Alik Cavaliere (1926-1998), among the greatest Italian sculptors and masters of the second half of the 20th century, was a professor of sculpture since 1970 and director of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. He oriented his research on the relationship between man and nature and constantly pursued new forms of expression through the use of countless representational techniques and the manipulation of materials.
