This piece was created for the performance “Sculpture for Fire” held at the international event, “Convergenze Pollenzo, Art, Philosophy, Food”. This piece was one of the “pans” used to prepare foods during the performance portrayed in the enclosed video which shows all of the stages of the preparation and cooking. The placement of the pan on the embers and on its base recalls the fact that the piece was created for this event, but also evokes the natural dignity of the animal sacrificed for cooking. www.doutdo.it/salvetti
