Thistable has three shelves, two rectangular and protruding on the sides, and a smallersquare one fixed to the four legs by slender connecting elements. The woodentop is decorated with thin, threadlike, intertwined metal stems, which linksmall mother-of-pearl flowers inlaid into the wood and recall the ornamentalcompositions of Eugenio Quarti. This model shows amore balanced and harmonious use of curved and orthogonal lines, marking thetransition in Carlo Zen
