Dean Bowen was born in Maryborough, Victoria, Australia in 1957. Bowen has a Diploma in Fine Art (Printmaking) from RMIT (1975), Master of Arts (Printmaking) from RMIT (1993) and a PhD (Extending Printmaking) from RMIT (1999). Bowen has works in public and private collections around Australia and internationally. Bowen has an extensive exhibition career.
