Count Wrangel commissioned this drawing from the English shipbuilder Francis Sheldon. Sheldon, being a royalist, lived in exile in Sweden between 1655 and 1685. He returned to England supposedly because he did not get paid for his work for the navy. It is a watercolour on paper glued to a hinged board.
