The swearing-in of the peace treaty between Spain and the United Netherlands at the Munster Council House, May 15, 1648. Central to the table are the emissaries of both parties: Gaspar de Bracamonte y Guzman, Count of Peñaranda, Antoine Brun, Barthold van Gent, lord of Meynerswijck, Johan van Mathenes, Adriaen Pauw, Frans van Donia, Willem van Ripperda and Adriaen Clant.
