Wide-angled lowland landscape with vast marshy waters and a far horizon. Wide grey-and-blue water flowing in the meadow in the foreground seems to be forming an irregular stream, gradually narrowing as it runs away into the landscape. Clusters of buttercups on the water and its marshy banks (yellow flowers, green leaves). Meadow in bright tones of greens and willow greens. Dense forest visible in the foreground, parallel to the horizon (two-thirds of the width of the overall canvas width); to the left another strip of forest, further away. Sky pinkish in lower layers, blue higher up. The overall work luminous, slightly misty. Painted with subtle brush strokes, flowers with more pronounced texture.
