The 38-year-old Catharina Behaghel is depicted in front, sitting in a wide armchair and with a closed fan in the right hand. She wears a black silk robe with a white mill collar and a kite, a cloak with loose sleeves. She wears pearls around the neck and wrists and a mountain crystal locket on the chest. The background is closed by a semicircular niche, with a red curtain hanging, on the right the portrait is bounded by a female herme. The same ensemble includes the portrait of her husband Rogier Le Witter (SK-A-4971) and the portrait of his mother Magdalena de Cuyper (SK-A-4973).
