Montardier, artist. Snow ROXANA of Boston. It has a hook at the bottom of the frame for 92.12.2, a small miniature portrait of Capt. Joseph Miller. Frame 24 1/4 x 28 1/2. This brig was built at Bath in 1822, and is similar in rig and size to the vessels used in trade to Africa from Bath. Capt. Joseph Miller (1785-1865) from Waldoboro actually used the brig in trade to Europe.
