The photocopies of four illuminated letters of the Georgian alphabet were discovered by the director of the Art Palace of Georgia in the National Library of Ireland in 2015. In 2018, Professor Alexander Mikaberidze of the Louisiana State University-Shreveport discovered the rest of the letters at The Lilly Library of the Indiana University (Bloomington).
