The Battle of Terheide, 10 August 1653: episode from the First English Sea War (1652-54). Battle between Dutch and English warships. The ships Hollandia, Peace, Resolution, Zeelandia and Brederode are depicted. The list (in the middle below) contains a cartouche cartouche with a legendary description of the numbers and capitals of the vessels depicted and what happened with them.
