Georgi Mitov is the younger brother of the artist Anton Mitov. He studied at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin (1893-1898) under prof. Giacomo Grosso, and graduated with a gold medal. Due to the artist’s early death, his creative heritage consists of portraits of young Italian women, as well as nudes, which he painted as a student. They are composed with a distinct sense of color and with nuances applied with a light and energetic brush.
