El inventario del 24 de mayo de 1593 registra entre los efectos en el almacén del Palazzo Vecchio (Guardaroba Medicea) tres paneles de cobre de Alessandro Allori, cada uno de medición 3/4 por 2/3 braccia, representando al Cristo muerto atendido por dos ángeles.
