Esta pieza formó parte de un programa decorativo, junto con otros tres tondis con virtudes. Dos (Temperancia y Justicia) están en el Musée de Cluny, París, y uno (Faith) está en el Museu Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisboa. Están relacionados con el cardenal Virtues de Luca della Robbia en el techo de la Capilla del Cardenal de Portugal en San Miniato, Florencia, pero muestran el estilo del sobrino de Luca, Andrea, que era la fuerza dominante en el negocio familiar después del ca. 1470.
