Huevo eléctrico, también llamado de la Tubo de pulverización por el nombre de su inventor el físico Auguste De La Rive (1801 - 1873), se utiliza para estudiar y observar la descarga eléctrica de gas rara. Es un huevo de vidrio en el que hay dos polos pequeños de hierro que terminan en dos globos pequeños que pueden conectarse, a través de terminales, respectivamente a polo positivo y polo negativo. En la parte inferior de este instrumento hay un toque para conectar el contenedor con la bomba de vacío.
