明 紙日本Este apretón de manos tiene cinco piezas distintas de escritura, cada una de la manera de un viejo maestro diferente. Estudiar el pasado juega un papel central en la caligrafía china e incluso cuando se desarrolla un estilo personal, es necesario revisitar a los antiguos maestros para descubrir nuevas ideas. Para cuando escribió estos pasajes, los primeros dos alrededor de 1595 y los tres restantes alrededor de 1600, Dong Qichang había desarrollado un estilo único, y el trabajo muestra tanto su voz individual como su conocimiento de la tradición caligráfica.
