Por intercesión de Venus, Aeneas recibe una nueva armadura en la forja de Vulcanus. En medio, el héroe se arrodilla ante la diosa. Un Cupido alcanza el casco, las otras partes de la armadura están en el frente. A través del aire, putti, uno con una corona de laurel. A la izquierda, cuatro forjas trabajan sobre un fuego. Parte de un grupo de cinco obras hechas para la casa en Nieuwegracht 6 en Utrecht.
