Esta miniatura, que es ampliamente atribuida a Holbein, se basa en un dibujo de él en el Louvre, París. Aparentemente ha sido cortado para adaptarse a un marco oval. Wriothesley (1508–1550), que era Lord Canciller y Guardián del Gran Sello, actuó como el ejecutor de Enrique VIII y consejero privilegiado de Edward VI.
