Hester Bateman (bap. 1708 – 16 septiembre 1794) fue un platero inglés, renombrado por su adulación de alta calidad y platería ornamental. On 20 May 1732 she married John Bateman, a gold chain maker and wire drawer. John Bateman murió de consumo (tuberculosis) en 1760, dejando sus herramientas a su esposa en su voluntad.
