明еннных 草пеннных нентентени 軸 絹日本Al mismo tiempo que el script clerical estaba evolucionando desde el script del sello, un tipo de escritura aún más rápido y más informal se estaba desarrollando junto a él: script cursivo. Huang Daozhou fue uno de los principales exponentes del script cursivo durante la dinastía Ming tardía (1568-1644). Las carreras de pincel de Huang, ni siquiera pausando para levantar entre caracteres, creando cascadas de texto mientras se mueve por cada columna. Desde el momento de su nacimiento alrededor de 200 B.C., el script cursivo ha estado en uso continuo en China.
