Paisaje de tierras bajas con vastas aguas marshy y un horizonte lejano. El amplio agua gris y azul que fluye en el prado en el primer plano parece estar formando un flujo irregular, disminuyendo gradualmente a medida que huye hacia el paisaje. Clusters de mantequilla ocupa en el agua y sus bancos de marshy (flores amarillos, hojas verdes). Prado en tonos brillantes de verdes y verdes sauces. Bosque denso visible en primer plano, paralelo al horizonte (dos tercios del ancho del ancho general de la tela); a la izquierda otra franja de bosque, más lejos. Cielo rosado en capas inferiores, azul superior. El trabajo general luminoso, ligeramente defectuoso. Pintado con pinceladas sutiles, flores con textura más pronunciada.
