En Juliet y su Enfermera, Joseph Mallord William Turner presenta una vista de la Piazza principal y las partes orientales de Venecia desde arriba del extremo occidental de la Procuratie Nuove, cerca de los tejados del Hotel Europa en los que permaneció. En el centro se encuentra el Campanile y la Basílica de San Marco, los ladrillos rojos de la torre que enfatizan las cúpulas innaturalmente blanqueadas y casi fantasmales. A su derecha es el nivel superior distintivo del Doge
