Retrato de Carel Quina (1622-89), caballero de la tumba santa, viajero de Amsterdam a Asia. A mitad de camino sentado en una mesa detrás de un atlas se abrió en un mapa de Europa y Oriente Medio; en la mano derecha una brújula. A la izquierda un sirviente con un tazón de fruta, en el futuro una cara sobre San Pedro en Roma. Un cachorro se sienta en la alfombra persa en la mesa.
