A San Sebastián le importaban Irene y sus ayudantes. En una habitación con un suelo azul y cremoso, la flecha herido Sebastian se sienta en un colchón, apoyado en su espalda por una anciana con pañuelo blanco. Está completamente desnudo excepto por un loincloth. A la izquierda, Irene se arrodillaba con él y apoyaba su cabeza con su mano izquierda mientras mantenía una de sus muñecas con la otra mano. Un ayudante saca una flecha del cuello de Sebastiaan a la derecha. En primer plano un tazón rojo con esponja, tela, flechas y un frasco de ungüento con botella. En el fondo derecho una chimenea, a la izquierda un vistazo a otra habitación.
