Un grupo de mujeres turcas sentadas en el suelo en un paisaje cerca de Constantinopla ven un fenómeno en forma de figura humana (estatua estrella?) en el cielo. Parece que una vieja pintura está llegando a través de la capa de pintura, pero la apariencia borrosa en el aire está destinada a ser. Lo que hay detrás de esta pintura es desconocido. Tal vez Vanmour ha representado una historia popular turca o es las alucinaciones de las mujeres que fuman opio?
