Muestra a William Tilden Blodgett (1823-1875), un partidario de la causa de la Unión y un fideicomisario fundador del Museo Metropolitano, con su familia en el salón Renacimiento Renacimiento de su casa en la 27 West 25th Street. Depicted during the Civil War, at a time of urban upheaval, the serene interior defined for Christmas, embodies "the best sentiment of home", as a critic observed in 1865.
