Esta pintura al óleo muestra el Mercado de Old Stocks en Londres, que vendió frutas y flores. En primer plano a la izquierda, un pequeño carruaje está de pie y un perro ladra hacia figuras en el mercado. En el centro de la pintura se puede ver la estatua ecuestre de Carlos II erigida por Sir Robert Vyner (Goldsmith, Banker y Lord Mayor) en 1672. En el fondo se encuentra la cúpula y el blanco, torre pisada de la iglesia de San Esteban Walbrook. El viejo mercado de stocks estaba en el sitio de la actual casa de mansión (pre-1779).
