Otto Prutscher diseñó este jarrón de vidrio soplado de color rojo y hecho de cristal transparente, creando pellets de color plata. En esta pieza, Prutscher se aleja de los diseños geométricos característicos que lo identifican y elige una forma más orgánica, utilizando una técnica común de ese tiempo llamada “cristales”. Así se crea una textura bubbly interna, prefigurando vidrio de los años 20. Fue producida en 1908 por la fábrica de Lötz Witwe en Klostermühle en Bohemia (actual República Checa), que tenía una gran reputación a principios del siglo XX.
